Desert Rose Bonsai Tree (Adenium obesum)
The Desert Rose Bonsai Tree or botanically known as Adenium Obesum, is native to native to Arabia’s semi-arid regions and eastern as well as western tropical Africa. This beautiful bonsai is considered a desert succulent which likes full sun and well draining soil. They are also very heat tolerant. In the wild, the Desert Rose plant can grow anywhere from 5-7 feet tall, and produces very attractive pink open-trumpet shaped flowers. It has fleshy leaves and forms a very bulbous base. The Desert Rose Bonsai Tree is a very popular and sought after bonsai that is not only easy to take care of but rewards you with blooming flowers multiple times a year. The perennial succulent bonsai is excellent in pots and lives with little care and can take a good deal of neglect. The Adenium Obesum plant should not be below 54 degrees.

The Desert Rose Bonsai is a perfect introduction to Bonsai, not only for beginners but also for the more experienced and enthusiasts. For best results, place Bonsai outdoors in a spot that receives full to partial sun. Humidity tray recommended to hold overflow during watering and to allow for evaporation creating humidity.
